This is it. You've finally worked up the courage to ask that guy out-or that cute guy down the road actually asked you out! The date is all set. Of course, you want to look incredibly hot. No kidding. However, this can be hard to achieve at times. Read on to learn how to look hot on your date.
Things You'll Need
• A nice outfit
• Hair stuff-brush, clips, etc
• Makeup-mascara, lip gloss/stick, etc
• Moisturizer
• Shower soap/wash/gel
Steps
1. Plan your outfit. Work up a rough idea of what you'll be wearing. As time goes by and you buy new clothes, edit the outfit. Make sure you continually try it on, to make sure it looks good. You don't have to go shopping at the most expensive shops you can afford and buy a whole new outfit. Just make sure your outfit is something he hasn't seen you wearing before, and not too revealing just yet. Don't forget to think about shoes!

2. Choose a Hairstyle. Many people neglect this, because they're concentrating so hard on their outfit. The result is an absolutely gorgeous outfit, but boring and hurriedly done hair. Don't let this happen to you! Plan your hairstyle, along with your outfit. Try and do something new. Choose an easy style, but nothing too boring or ordinary. Remember that ribbons, clips, and bands can add a cute look and co-ordinate everything. Try out your hairstyle continually to make sure you can easily do it and it looks good.

3. Pick out Jewelry and Makeup. These two are crucial to dress up and add flair to your look. Choose a few makeup products, nothing too much. Just some mascara, clear lip gloss or natural coloured lip stick, a bit of bronzer or blush, and you're done. Pick some simple earrings, chains, and bracelets to add to your outfit. Rings are great too. Don't go over the top though-you don't want to get the whole masked makeup and dripping with jewelry look. Keep it pretty but natural.

4. Try on the whole outfit. Now that you have everything planned out, put it all together. Get into your clothes, put on your makeup and jewelry, do your hair. Don't do it sloppily-act like you really are going out on the date. Once you're ready, scrutinise yourself in the mirror. Note down any flaws or things to improve the outfit, and make sure you fix them up. This is a very important step-don't be lazy and skip it, you will regret it.

5. Take a shower before getting ready. Rushing home from school/work and jumping into your outfit can leave you looking red and sweaty. Skip that and take a relaxing but refreshing shower. If your hair looks nice just after it's washed, wash it. If it gets incredibly frizzy after being wash, wash it the day before and tuck it into a shower cap while you shower. Wash yourself with a nice smelling gel, wash, or soap.

6. Groom Yourself. While you're fresh out of the shower and still in your robe/towel, do a little grooming. Wash your face and dab on some moisturiser, brush your teeth, and moisturise your whole body. It will make your skin nice and soft-perfect for a nice date...Don't rush around, be careful and thorough. You might be excited by now, but just keep your cool-right?

7. Get Ready Carefully. The first thing you should do is get into your clothes. Don't paint your nails, put on makeup or do your hair, because that can all be ruined by putting on your clothes. So put on your outfit first, including your jewelry. THEN do your hair, so it won't be flapping around your face while you do your makeup. Finally, make up your face and if you want to, paint your nails. Just be careful.

8. Don't wreck anything. Once you're ready, sit and watch T.V or chat to a friend. Don't run about outside or start making food. Be careful, just don't do anything that might wreck any of your makeup, nails, or clothes. It might be hard, but sitting quietly would be a good option. If you really can't, read a magazine, or chat to a friend on the phone.

Tips
• While you're waiting, pop a mint in your mouth. It'll give you nice fresh breath and give you something to think about. Avoid chewing gum, it's sticky and looks weird if you chew it too violently.
• Don't get too dressed up or excited. If you're incredibly formal and heavy on the first date, you'll come across very clingy and scare him off. So just keep cool and casual. Warnings
• Don't get your hopes up really high if you hardly know the guy. You never know what could happen.
